It sounds like you need to clear your cache and cookies to resolve this issue.  Can you confirm whether that works?  I'm guessing that what happened was that the page was not finished loading when you pressed "start".  Depending on connection speed, CPU, the page sometimes needs a few moments to completely finish rendering.
