Thanks for the reply, but unfortunately I couldn't get it to work. I suspect the issue may be that the youtube channel is owned by an account that does not have G+ membership.
Here are the steps I tried, and maybe you can help me with something I've missed or confirm I've done things correctly.
Sign out of everything [restart browser for good measure :) ]
Launch browser, go to youtube
Sign in as the user I want to broadcast as
, sign in as the user who has access to the page on G+, also the user I want to be
to staying signed in as the user who owns the channel on youtube
Select the page from G+ navigation, switch session to that page
Select the home from G+ navigation on left hand side
Click start hangout from nav on right hand side
Check box for Hangout On Air
At this step, it shows that it'll go to my personal YouTube page, not the one with the account I'd first signed in as. We tried a test broadcast anyway, and sure enough, it did not work.
Now I'm in a bit of a catch-22, since the youtube channel is owned by something that's not a real person, so I shouldn't join it to G+. How can I broadcast to this channel though?
Thanks in advance for any additional help,
