When i have incoming hangout from someone i only get a small message with a link in my Google Plus stream.

But when i have an incoming video call from skype i hear a continuous ringtone sound and a pop up message where i can press "answer".

So, how to not miss the incoming hangout? Is there a way to make my desktop computer play ringtone sound when i have incoming hangout?

I am not sitting in Google+ 24 hours per day 7 days per week to constantly monitor my stream on a hangout links.

Or may be i miss something and Google Hangouts is not a replacement of the Skype Video calls?
