A little help is needed. 

I have a fusion table with the majority of columns being text. I am using the cards as contacts.I have one column for example phone brand, this will vary between Apple, Samsung and Nokia. I have in putted all the data but when i try to get a chart showing what phones are used by my contacts i dont get anything, after some investigation's i see that this column is text.

I would like to keep the brand names and not use numbers. Is there away round this?
