I also started noticing this FIRST on my Ipdad and now on my iPhone.... But with two fwd slashes: // The body is already esacped. Escaping twice produces an ugly message.
It appears on my iPad's and iPhone's Gmail whenever I want to fwd an email. Further I cannot delete it and whenever I attempt to, the application closes down.
BTW, this appears only on the iPad iPad and iPhone apps so far and not on my main Mac Gmail app.
