I can't get this new Gmail platform working right. I'm using Win Xp pro and IE 8.
The gear or gmail settings icon is not working. I can't get in to change anything. It had this awful blue 2 tone theme and it was hurting my eyes. Then somehow it changed to 2 tone yellow that you can't even read the white letters against it. But I can't get in to change any settings. When I click the gear the words come up "still working" and they never go away. Then after a while a pop up box asks me if I want to continue running the script. It just hangs at that point and I have to close the window completely. Has anyone else had that experience? Is there some way to fix this problem? I've cleared all caches and compatibility view is off. I need a solution. I use gmail for my business correspondence and Monday is just around the corner. Thank you.
