Hi Tim. Consumer Gmail accounts (those ending with "@ gmail.com" do not have a "return receipt" capability. That is only available in the Google Apps version of Gmail. Google Apps is designed to be a business offering and has a variety of capabilities that are designed for business use--including read receipt capability.
