Thank you for that response, CopyLion, and I will have to ask if it's okay I use your post as evidence that somebody fell down on the job in the Google, Inc. legal department.

 

I would also like to know, if it's okay, how they indicated to you to provide the ID document? Snail mail a copy? Or some other means?
