SMTP server IP address for my gmail account?

I am trying to get an application to work that sends an email notification to my gamil email address when ever any one leaves a message in my office voice mailbox.
It requires I enter the gmail smtp server IP address which I cannot find. Does anyone know the address or how I get it?
