Located on the mainland, White Pine Campground is situated in the Platte River District, about 2.5 miles north of the Platte River Campground. The campground has six (6) campsites and one (1) fire ring. Purchase of a Park Pass ($10.00) and Backcountry Camping Permit ($5.00 per night) is required. Passes and camping permits are available at the Platte River Campground Ranger Station and at the Phillip A. Hart Visitor Center in Empire. Each campsite can accommodate up to four (4) people and two (2) tents. Fires are allowed only in the established fire ring. Burn dead and down wood only. Bicycles and pets are prohibited.
