Love the new editor - though to be honest when I saw it first I got a bit worried.

Normally when I made a post in the earlier format I used to write the entire text with images/links etc. in HTML editor and then paste the entire content in GE placemarker balloon.

Thereafter I used to convert the HTML code in UBB and then post it in the GEC post.

Since most of my posts contain many images and links I was worried, that to incorporate all the images/links I will have to do all the work once again in the new editor. However I experimented by using copy and paste  function of Windows. I copied the entire content of the GE placemarker balloon and pasted it in the text block.

I am happy to say that  my worries were ill founded  and on pasting, not only the formatting was retained but images also got inserted correctly at the desired location (on left side and not centre).

Thank you all those who worked in the new format. The new editor is great.
