Kassper, your overlay was an excellent help. I wondered how a reverse overlay would match up.
So... the attached placemark outlines both areas. Then it provides a differently constructed overlay onto the Aksai Chin area using a PNG graphic with the outside areas transparent.
It provides two overlays in the opposite direction with the Borders function active and with it turned off. They were both constructed using "poor man's orthorectification" - hence the name Aksai Chin is upside down in the Borders version.
Very unlikely explanations:
This is a miniature version for entertainment which people can tour as an amusement. This is a fake constructed by someone during the imaging process as a joke. |
