This is sort of what I'm looking for. I just used one of the sites pictures, cropped it, and applied polarized coordinates, to get the effect. But unfortunately it is not dynamic, and there is some annoying black, and borders. As you can see, these maps can show if there is an aurora event worth going out for to see in your region.
