Sorry two things to clear up.
1. I wasn't clear that what I meant only that the images would show the likely intensity of aurora in an area, and not true live image.
2. Those 'applied polar coordinates’ I mentioned is a filter in PhotoShop that stretches the center of the image to the top, while moving the outer edges to the bottom. I needed to do this because you cannot center an image directly over a pole in GE.
