I doubt that it will be fixed in this cycle.  As I understand it, the development doesn't by practice fix things such as this after the full release.  I was reading about how Celestia was missing textures if you didn't install the celestia-common-nonfree package in Ubuntu 10.04 and that still hasn't been fixed (even in Mint 12 I had to install that package separately, but I didn't have to update any of the software sources to do so).
