Hi, you can't buy images from Google.  You'd need to do a search and see if they are available from any data provider.  I had a look at the Digital Globe layer which you can find in the Layers panel on the left under "More", and they have some images from 2002, but they are slightly to the west, so I don't know if they would be of interest to you.  You also have to bear in mind that images from 2002, if they exist, may not be of high enough resolution for your purpose.
