Hi, have a look at this page: http://www.google.com/earth/explore/products/plugin.html.  It will tell you whether you have the plugin, and you can download it and install it from there if you need to. 

If you still have problems, you might want to ask in the SketchUp help forum, there is a section for Building Maker.
