Yep ... Reinstalling 10.7.3 Combo did it for me. Thanks bkmccarty! Nice call. 

I quit and reopened G Drive and restarted, to make sure it wasn't a fuke. So far so good.

Finder and the rest of the computer seems more spry as well.
