Assigning Folders While in a Google doc, spreadsheet, drawing, etc.

Thank you, Google, for adding the ability to assign a folder while in a document or other type of "file." I have two suggestions for this feature:
1. I was one who submitted a request for this ability previously. One reason is because I got tired of having to go to the Google docs home screen to assign a folder. However, I still have to go to the home screen if the folder I want does not yet exist. So, when a user is in the doc, spreadsheet, drawing, etc., and clicks the folder icon to select a folder to assign, please include a "create new folder" in the drop-down. Thank you.
2. Previous condition: a doc, spreadsheet, drawing, etc. has been tagged with a folder. Description of suggestion: When a user hovers mouse over the new folder icon next to the star and file name, display the folder names tagged to the file OR just have the folder names listed next to the file name, much as you do in the home page list of files.
