I don't like that when I search within a document, it automatically moves to the combination of letters I've typed so far, even before I'm finished. This frequently results in losing my place.

Frequently, I will search in a very large document for something that may or may not be there. If it's not there, I want to remain at the same point I was already at, and continue what I was doing-- but instead, I'll be at some other point in the document, because there was probably a match for the first couple of letters that I typed.

Can this function be disabled?
