Thought I'd report on your originating thread too:
Some success, I guess. Resolution grade: A- (for the
time it took to resolve the issue). Customer service: D- (for the
convoluted way I had to go about getting help).

I found that a Google employee stevedrennan had been involved in a
similar case in March 2009. I looked at his profile, and found he's on
Twitter. I tweeted him using his account name "@stevedrennan," asking
for help on innocuous document flagged as "inappropriate content."
(2) A few hours later, he DM'd me and asked for the URL of the document in question. I sent it via Twitter.
(3) About two hours after that exchange, I received an e-mail from Google. There was no
content in the body of the message; there was only a subject line, and
I quote "--error--". I checked the document in question, and the block
has been turned off.
