<<Google Docs error. This error has been reported to Google and we'll look into it as soon as possible. Please try one of these interim solutions: ...>> We've seen many recent reports on the forum of this error message. When I replied [1] to a similar report on 2012-05-27 I had found 28 conversations since 2012-04-14 that contain this exact string, and none before that date, and there have been plenty more reports since 2012-05-27. I think that the error message probably replaces an earlier one, which was: "Google Docs has encountered an error. We are looking into the problem now. Please try one of these interim solutions: ...". That earlier message was very often reported on the forum since early in 2011; out of a few hundred conversations I'll extract only this one [2].
The forum experience with the earlier error tells us that some browser extension is probably involved. The advice is therefore to try to use a different browser. If that option is not available, then one can try to disable or uninstall browser extensions (or access the Doc through "private" or "incognito" browsing) and see if that makes the problem go away. (If it makes the problem go away then one can earn gratitude here by identifying which browser extension is involved and reporting the result on this forum.)
I don't much care for the "we'll look into it as soon as possible". In essence the error message has been around since early 2011.
