How do I make the msg go away?

I cannot get the ap to install and I have this msg at the top of my screen: "Docs offline is not working because you are missing the latest Docs Chrome app or it is disabled.  Learn more"  How do I make this msg go away?

I'm using Windows 7 OS and Chrome Browser.
