With more than a few categories / sections within an edition,
making a change in the edition design can get pretty annoying,
because you've got to apply the same change for every section.

Why not offer the opportunity to define a "master template" that is inherited to all sections?
Inheritance may be configurable via the Section Template Dropdown:
"Use Master Template" similar to the already existing "Same as tablet".
