also, has everyone checked their firewalls and other security software to make sure scripts aren't filtered and blocked? I have had firewalls where no amount of tweaking would allow some things to load, and uninstalling them was the only way (and I am no novice with computers).

One site I have noticed does not work for me is http://www.twellow.com. even in IE and opera the main page takes forever to load (and sometimes doesn't) but no matter what I can't get links to work. I imagine this is a system thing on my end, as it is cross-browser.
