After months of trying every suggestion posted on the forum I have finally gotten the right answer.

If you go to the thread titled Chrome Crashes on Version 13 and read what wár17 § has suggested about plug ins I am sure this is the issue. I was about to stop using Chrome and followed his direction and after months of Chrome crashing or freezing about a dozen times a day, I can say it has not crashed once in the last 24 hours.

It's worth a try and a easy fix that takes about 15 seconds.
