I really wish Google would fix this issue. It's still there in 6.0.427.0 dev.

Chrome is unusable because of it.

Between this and the lack of hierarchical History (like in Safari, or like in the Firefox plugin History Submenus (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/search?q=history%20submenus), I am sticking with Firefox.
