Sorry Google, but this Flash crash issue, plus the fact that EVERY time I click on an advertising link in Google I get an 'oops could not connect' message mean that Google Chrome has become a complete waste of space as an internet browser.  Farewell, I'm off to try others.  I suspect the problem comes from Trusteer Rapport, as you Google folks have indicated.  But I never asked for Rapport; my bank insisted on installing it or I can't use on-line banking.  And I can't update it from the Rapport site, only via my bank.  The root problem to all these crashes seems to me to arise from the fact that so many different parties are now installing so much goddamn software to prevent internet abuse there are bound to be unresolvable conflicts as a result.
