I'm using Acrobat Pro as part of the CS4 product suite, and displaying pdf's in Chrome regularly (perhaps 50% of the time) fails. Tragically, this means going back to IExplorer as despite uninstall/reinstall, repair, update of Acrobat Professional, Chrome, Acrobat Reader (there goes 4 hours of your life that you're not getting back) I still get the random Acrobat error messages sometimes suggesting I contact the author to see why the document failed to display.
This makes Chrome unusable for scientific purposes where I spend my day reading pdf's and I'd advise you to switch browsers until they fix this. |
