I have a brand new Windows 7 Premium system.
Brand new install of the latest Chrome  v. 8.0.552.215
Brand new install of the latest Adobe Reader v 10.0
No other Adobe reader.

I can view online pdf files in Chrome but there are no controls at all for turning pages, zooming, searching etc.
On my old Win XP system with an older Chrome and and older Adobe reader, when I view pdf's there is a very powerful set of controls. It feels as if you are using a full featured pdf application. It's wonderful. I hope we can find a way to get this working again. Or perhaps the Google pdf viewer will surpass it. Good luck !
