I'm using the latest version of Chrome. Windows 7 Pro 64-bit.
Viewing PDF full text articles in EBSCO databases are not working with Chrome viewer, work fine with Adobe Reader 9. When I click on the "PDF full text" icon, the reader page opens as usual, but no document loads up. If I click on the "Download PDF" link in the top menu, then it opens in a new tab with Chrome reader, but I'd rather just switch back to Adobe and save the extra step. I can't provide a URL because it is a subscription service. I think the problem is that if the Chrome PDF viewer is default, many students will assume Chrome simply doesn't work, since using the task bar to edit plugins is not very intuitive.
Besides that, Chrome is fantastic. |
