I don't really like this UI change. I usually use Ctrl-T but sometimes I get lazy and use the mouse to go for the tab button and I usually just click somewhere in the general vicinity of the tab button, but now this tab button without the + is really hard to press. It's either that I'm not used to the shape of it or I just don't see it as clearly without the +. Out of the corner of my vision, it's easy to see the plus sign before but now it's hard to find the tab button without looking directly at it.
