Not entirely sure why this seems to happen. I've seen this in a few cases now and have yet to work it out, but my best guess would be the secure version of Facebook is not being delivered to you properly for one reason or another. It may be to do with the root certificate on your computer but I'll see what I can discover. In any case, glad the issue is resolved!
