I am replying to my own message. I have put Google Chrome in the Trash from my applications folder. I have not deleted it yet because it says this:

    Go to the folder containing Google Chrome.
    Drag Google Chrome to the Trash icon in the Dock. You'll need administrative rights if it's installed in your Applications folder. To remove the Google Chrome icon from your Dock, simply drag it out of the Dock with your mouse.

It was installed from my applications folder. I guess I have administrative rights because I am the administrator. Any guidance forth comeing as to whether I can delete it from the trash?
