Mac Lion OS not playing well with Google Chrome

I recently upgraded my Mac Mini Operating system to  Mac LION. I started noticing loss of Hard drive spaceand slow internet. Somedays it would be down to 2.6GB and going down further.  After some research I pointed my finger at Google Chrome. Does anyone know of Google Chrome not working with Mac Lion OS? what's up;because this ain't cool.
