Extensions that pop up on the address bar (or main toolbar, or whatever it's called) should be drag-and-drop capable. If I want to put my Gmail Checker extension next to the home button, I should be able to do that. I guess what I'm really looking for is a fully customizable toolbar, from which icons show to where they are located. You know, kind of like how Firefox has always been.
The lack of extension ordering just brought this to the forefront; you can snuffy the order of extensions to the right of the address bar by disabling/reenabling them, but I've found this workaround to not stick reliably with a browser close.
So in summary: fully customizable toolbar, from which icons show to where they are located. Drag-and-drop would be welcome, but even just an interface tab that lets you customize it would be enough. |
