If you don't want tabbed browsing you can always open links in new windows. That feature is still there in the right-click context menu and Ctrl+N. .

Here is an extension that claims to disable tabbed browsing:
New Tab, New Window
"Open a new tab in a new window."

And here's another:
All Links Open New Window

Incidentally, I do not get this logic:
"The other browsers can also provide an option to turn off / on tabbed browsing, WHY not Google Chrome?"

Extending that logic to an extreme, if all browsers offer exactly the same features, performance, security, etc as each other, won't there effectively be just the one browser with different names?

And I really don't know too much about "security" but I've read that the more the options, the larger the "attack surface". Anyone?
