extensions are still to limited in my opinion... I figure "aproved" extensions should have be able to do virtually anything, Including adding a toolbar, Wrench Options, file downloads, removal of any feature within chrome, or addition of any new feature. essentially creating a 'mod' able to mold chrome any way desireable, but somehow retaining update functionality, for both the mods homesite, and googles home site.
The major problem with program mods, is their inability to update when the base software does, meaning your stuck with a stunted version of the program, until the moder finally decides to manually update his code. |
