Yet another bump.

I've also disabled every possible option, tried the shortcut fix, etc. Nothing works! Omnibox prediction is annoying as all hell. Why is there even a button to disable prediction if you can't really disable it? Also, why do I see network activity whenever I type in the omnibox BEFORE I press enter? Everything is set to "disabled" and I'm not even logged into a google account, so what exactly is being sent to google in this case? HMMM MARKETING/SEARCH DATA COLLECTION MAYBE!!?! Yup back to FF.

I want to like Chrome but this lack of control and dubious collection activity makes me wonder what they are up to...
