Hi all.
I'm experiencing a impossibility to use google-talkplugin on my Lucid Lynx Ubuntu.

I'm trying to install the .deb for 32bit Debian Ubuntu package, on my Ubuntu Lucid Lynx 10.04 LTS, on a Dell Vostro 1510, using Firefox as a browser
But it does not work.
Here is what I did yesterday, 29th of october 2011:
1/ I went to the download page http://www.google.com/chat/video/download.html
2/ I clic on "install" button. That downloaded a google-talkplugin_current_i386.deb file.
3/ I went on my download directory. I double-clicked on the google-talkplugin_current_i386.deb. Then the instalor began, after asking me my pwd.
4/ I closed firefox. I shut down the PC.
5/ I restarted the PC. I launched firefox. I connected to google account, went to gmail, and launched a chat with a second account opened in an other PC running under windows.
6/ I clic on the small camera logo present on the top left of the chat windows. Then, a sentence appears, telling me I could get video/voice, with a link to download page of talkplugin. Meaning: the talkplugin is not recognized, and then the video/voice is not possible.

What should I do to correct this ? What information could I give you, to try to solve this ?
Thanks a lot for your help.
