After 3-4 days some how the problem seems to have resolved itself, I will never know how!! Any action from Meebo side (from logging out to deleted accounts) helped. I changed the password for my gmail, I dunno if that helped eventually, but, resolution did not come immediately after change of password instead about more than 24 hours later. But, I am glad it resolved,  I will never again try these fragile buggy apps.
