I'm glad that there has been progress.  But I guess I should have clarified more of what I was looking for.  I have the google calander show up on my google side bar on my PC.  It displays the whole month.  I also have a android phone in which I use the Google calander which show a whole month.  When looking at the whole month calander I would like to change the color of the "number" on a day or change the background color of that day when I have something scheduled that day.  Right now it shows a bold number when something is planned.  But that bold number could be a standard holiday set up by google or I could have something planned that day.  There is no way to tell unless I go into each day and look.  Not real convienant when looking at a new month and trying to see what is going on for that month.  If I need to buy birthday presents, aniversary present or plan for vacation or go to the dentist.  If I get paid every other friday, I would like to make those days show up green.  If I have someones birthday on my calander, I would like to make those days show up purple.  And so on.
