You can claim the business listings that have been already created. go to login to your account (if you do not have one simply create one) Add a business When it ask for the phone number simply put the phone number in of the listing you want to claim. Google should find the listing and display the info. DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING! and submit the info. Chances are they will send you a postcard to verify the account. After it is verified you can change the info if you need to but not before you verified the account.
Some strange things can occur when listings have been claimed in 2 accounts so once it is claimed I would ask the x employee to delete the listings from their account.
