Google buys business lists from multiple sources, takes feeds from others, scrapes the web for still others and attempts to assemble their business listings totally by machine. They use an algo driven process to match new listings to existing listings and merge out the duplicates from the list.

Phone number is one of the main glues that holds together each cluster of information about any given business and it is a main way that they determine that a listing is unique. So RCF numbers typically create multiple duplicate listings.

This has the affect of making the value of RCF numbers worthless AND splitting the strength of your main listing among several listings.

1)You need to stop using RCF numbers with the phone company
2)You need to delete the RCF listings at Axciom and the other primary data suppliers Localeze and InfoUSA if they also have them
3)After you have done 1 & 2 and waited about 8 weeks, you should take the time to report the errant RCF listings as duplicates of your main listing. It will be necessary to do this several times but sooner or later with the aid of human intervention Google Places will learn that they are dupes and merge them into your main listing

There is more that can be done but if you do 1-3 you have made a good start.
