Unfortunately no, because they have to initiate the "following". This is one of the downsides of changing the URL of a blog. It causes you to have to start from scratch on readers, followers, and search engine results. Anyone that had your blog linked on their blog also needs to update their link...especially if they are using a gadget that relies on the feed (like the Blog List).
