afmiller: Why are you so against using a 2nd account, really? Even if they don't let you migrate your stuff from one account to another (which is unlikely, and would only add extra development time), how is it any worse than using Facebook? When you switch, you still have to manually migrate everything. I see your reasoning that it's inconvenient and a solid ETA would be nice, but I really don't see a reason to assume you're stuck. If you're unhappy with Facebook, switch.
As to the number of accounts I use: They all serve different purposes (separate inboxes that vary in importance), and using the multiple sign in feature, I can easily access them all at the same time... No switching accounts like a crazy person. I truly don't see the big deal, especially considering that this is a field trial (essentially, a preview). Would you seriously bash Microsoft and rant about how you're going to switch to Mac because of Windows 8's Developer Preview? I seriously hope not. |
