Hi I'm Whims, one of the Top Contributors here on the GA Help Forum.
Some of you are familiar with me whether it's been due to ne assisting you with one of your queries, or simply from seeing me
posting to other ppl's threads.
When I first started posting on the analytics Help Forum, I knew very little about Google Analytics. Having mainly used it for nothing more than tracking site visitor data to my own personal website and blogs. My own initial posts, more often than not were requests for assistance.
I found over time, by regularly using the GA help forum and often reading other people's questions and the replies they received, it's assisted and accelerated my own learning and as I gained further knowledge and a wider variety of experience, I was able to contribute by helping others too. Being approached to become a TC was not only a surprise but also an honor. I have a genuine desire to help people and being a TC is my way of 'giving back' to the great community here that has assisted me over time.
Being a TC is completely voluntary, however one of the great things about the Google system, is that it's based on a number of factors and doesnt rely solely on a person having a minimum forum user "level" or an astronomical post count to become one. As AP.Aruna mentioned in the "Star of the Month" thread, a number of factors and qualities are taken into account.
Anyhow, enough of me burbling at you.
If you have a good knowledge of Google Analytics,
you find you are often helping people here on the GA Help Forum,
you have a desire to further your GA experience and learning and ...
you are interested in possibly becoming a TC
then please drop a reply below this post!
Enjoy you day
