Consider this a complaint.
Recently I "googled" the words "screen printing." Here were my results. http://i55.tinypic.com/2dbpb1l.png
Notice anything? Most of the page is local results. I don't even want local results for this. I was looking up information on screen printing.
What angers me is that you provide no way to stop you creeping on my location. It'd be simple to allow us users to turn off this feature, even if we had to log into our google accounts.
So is there a way to disable this? If not, you can expect me to look for a different search engine. Go back to the old ways, google. When you provided good results.

It turns off all localisations

When I click that link it redirects me to http://www.google.com and when I do a search localizations are still there.

The address just redirects to http://www.google.com/
I think it's ridiculous that there's no option to do a global search.

Google is destroying the local searchexperience for users in deciding what isbest for us. I don't want 8 local listings with zero info other than their address an phone number, this is like using Yellow Pages and it sucks. Google .. put the organic listings above Google Places where at least there is summary info about the site .. or lose tons of customers including me thank you.

Searching a zipcode for movies on Google now really sucks whereas before it was awesome. Previously Google would list themovies showing plus the theaters and showtimes, now the results are nonsense and useless, they make you fight for the information. Google, suggestion, create User Groups to test new features before you roll them out because sometimes you get it really wrong, which sucks when you get so many many things right.

I have to agree, this really sucks, Google was always great cause by altering the search argument I would get what i want.
Now it trows all kinds off useless local results in there, if I want it to be local we can just trow the location in the search string.
And I really don't understand why theres no option to disable this, it would be great as a extra option in the advanced search, but standard with every search does more harm then good.
