How does google maps collect traffic data for local surface streets? (ie. not freeways) dbcshockley 11/25/09 9:23 PM Just curious as to how google maps aggregates the data for traffic conditions of local surface streets, not freeways. Is it through the sensors in the streetlights? GPS enabled phones? Curiosity strikes again.
