|Imported contacts from AOL, and it did not place the email addresses under each contact||wtdconst||12/22/11 2:34 PM|
Explain your issue in full detail here:
Imported contacts from AOL account. Contact names appear, but the emails do not show under e-mail, but rather in separate section called screen names. Is there an easy way to convert this so screen name is the email to be used, or do I need to do all manually?

That sounds like a mis-mapped import, as AOL must be using different field names to GMail. Does anything appear under the E-Mail address field at all? Or are they all blank, with just the "Screen Name" field showing up?
The easiest way to fix this is to export your newly imported Contacts as a Google compatible CSV file. Then delete all your contacts in GMail. (You can restore them if you need to, so don't panic!)
Open the file in Excel or another spreadsheet program, and look for the columns headed "Screen Names" and "E-mail 1 - Value". Copy the contents of "Screen Names" and paste them into the column headed "E-mail 1 - Value"
Or, if you found that the email field was just empty in your GMail contacts, you could try renaming the column headed "Screen Names" to "E-mail 1 - Value"
Save the file. Try re-importing it. The email addresses should now map correctly to the proper field.
